Navy Sales Manager

You will get an important role in the strategic sales in complex naval projects, and you will be responsible for advising, designing, and selling solutions optimized for the navy. Additionally, you will hand over contracts to the order department and attend meetings related to contracts. Your areas of responsibility will include the following:

  • Identify optimal technical and commercial solutions for naval projects.
  • Promote MAN Energy Solutions’ solutions to third parties, such as designers, OEMs, and end-users.
  • Develop market analysis and business plans, as well as contribute with suggestions for marketing materials.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars, customer events, and naval networking organizations (e.g., Navy Team Denmark).

 

To be successful in this role, you preferably have a technical educational background, a solid technical understanding, and insights into Naval Business. You have experience with project sales, have a good cultural understanding and the know-how of sales to governmental organizations. Furthermore, you have solid experience with customer presentations, good knowledge of sales processes concerning timing and foresight, and you can communicate technical information understandably to end-users at the customer’s site.

You have professional proficiency in both written and spoken English. Additionally, you are willing to work from the company’s office located in Frederikshavn.

As a person you can be described as proactive, energetic, and able to manage different tasks at the same time. You go by the mantra that an idea is better than none, and you have empathy and understanding of other people. Furthermore, you are focused on quality, are making decision on a valid ground, and you readily challenge the existing framework of tasks.
