Strategic Partners – Business Development – Retail Technology
As Director of Strategic Alliances, you will report to the General Manager, and be responsible for building and developing commercial relationships with Technology Partners and other Strategic Partners to achieve planned company revenue and profitability targets. You develop and implement effective Partner strategies including relationship mapping, management of opportunity pipeline and generation of investment and development plans to achieve short-term business objectives while planning for long-term growth. To do so, you need to have a deep understanding of the Partner’s priorities, strategies and organization as well as understanding the Partner’s current and planned product portfolio. You understand the Partner’s “routes to market” and work with our Channel Sales Team to ensure our distribution and reseller channels are aligned. You closely monitor Partner engagement levels, conduct periodic business reviews and undertake measures to gain traction with key stakeholders.
Furthermore, you work with Product Management to ensure we have standard mounting/mobility solutions for the Partner product range as well as cooperate with Marketing to develop and conduct campaigns with Partners. You will also be participating in relevant trade shows and Partner events.
You have experience with POS systems, payment systems or related technologies for the retail, grocery or hospitality sectors. You have a strong understanding of relevant market trends and technology developments in those sectors, and you are experienced in establishing senior level relationships within identified Partners to drive sales opportunities and promote the company’s value proposition. You are known for your commercial acumen and your ability to interpret customer requirements and propose solutions.
You have excellent communication skills that makes you able to effectively communicate key messages to a diverse audience. You are a self-starter with the ability to perform in high pressure and dynamic situations. You are well organized and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. You are an ambitious and energetic team player with a strong work ethic, who is known for your drive, enthusiasm and for being pro-active and persistent.
You are willing to work from the office in Atlanta. High levels of travel within North America and occasional travel to Europe is required with this role.
