OnRobot was founded in 2015 in Odense, Denmark, and is on track to become the global One-Stop Shop for all Collaborative Applications on all Robot Platforms. OnRobot is defining and leading the market for Collaborative Applications by bringing disruptive technologies to market quickly. OnRobot provides plug-and-play electric tools that mount directly on the robot arm, are highly flexible and are simple enough to be programmed and operated from the same interface as the robot without the need of engineers. The company has a network of more than 100 distributors in 40+ countries in Europe, Asia, North America and Oceania and offices in USA, Malaysia and Germany.

OnRobot’s proven leadership team has a clear strategy to continue to acquire and develop innovative Collaborative Applications technologies and to grow revenues rapidly. In that regard OnRobot is now looking for an Area Sales Manager.

Sales Development – UK/Ireland Market – Technology Industry

You will report to the Regional General Manager & Director of Sales North Europe who is located in Odense, Denmark. Your overall responsibility is to develop sales quickly through expansion and effective activation of the partner network. You will be responsible for signing and enabling a high number of new partners and keep the partner network up to date on product portfolio and technology developments. You develop new sales opportunities for the partners by qualifying leads and making introductions, and you develop in-depth understanding of OnRobot products, applications and applicate robot platforms. Furthermore, you participate in exhibitions, plan and perform timely product training, support the partner sales cycle and collect feedback for innovation.

You are sales execution focused and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding your targets, and you understand the importance of sales activities. You will be a part of a team of highly motivated employees, who all are focused on expanding sales of OnRobot’s unique technologies through relevant partners.

You are experienced in technical sales, driving channel sales and in channel development. It is important that you have previous experience in the field of automation or robot technology, and it is considered an advantage if you have a technical or engineering education.

As a person you are challenge driven, result-oriented and focussed on execution. You are independent, self-motivated and you have a sense of urgency and understanding of the importance of meeting your targets. You are structured, and you have strong work ethics where you possess a high level of information and persistence, enabling you to negotiate and close deals and contracts.

The main office for OnRobot is located in Odense, Denmark. The area office for this position is in UK/Ireland as a home office, wherefrom you will be working.
