Sales Support – Retail technology – International company
As Project Manager you will report to the Sales Development Manager and be an important support to the dedicated salesforce that operates all over the UK. You will have a broad variety of tasks and responsibilities, from supporting the salesforce, communicating with end-users, Channel Partners and distributors, defining solutions and training, overseeing installations to project management. Moreover, you will also be responsible for evaluating customer requirements, proposing solutions, and providing technical product information and support. You will play an important role in representing Ergonomic Solutions at industry events and onsite visits to customers. You will be responsible for conducting product demonstrations, providing products, pricing information, performing a critical role in the pre-sales process.
You have a relevant educational background and experience with sales support and/or project management from a relevant industry; such as for example retail technology, major retailers, shop fitting or system integration. We expect you to have the ability to interpret customer requirements and propose solutions and to interpret technical drawings. Moreover, we expect you to be IT literate, and able to use MS Office and CRM systems. You are fluent in English both orally and written.
You are an ambitious, independent and responsible team player with a hands-on approach to solving problems. You work proactively, see possibilities rather than obstacles, work well under pressure and have a strong desire to succeed. You are an effective communicator, with strong customer service orientation and the ability to develop and maintain relationships, which helps you in your job with both customers and the salesforce.
You will be based in Epsom, Surrey and is expected to live in sensible commuting distance from here. There will be approximately 10-20 days of travel a year.
