Epoka A/S is an independent and well-consolidated international company with a young and dynamic team of talented employees. Since 1991, Epoka has been a market leader and is today one of the absolute largest and leading companies within buying and selling new and used high-end server, storage and network equipment. Epoka’s focus is the trading and distribution of IT equipment to customers in more than 120 countries around the world.
The company employs approximately 75 employees, most of whom are working from the headquarter in Svenstrup, Denmark. The other employees are at the company's sales offices in the Netherlands, Hungary, Dubai and Russia.
Due to the company’s continued growth and strategy plans for the coming years, it is currently looking to expand its international sales team and therefore, it is now seeking an Account Manager.
IT-distribution – International – Germany – Spain

As Account Manager you will be part of a highly skilled and competent sales team, which now consists of 18 different nationalities. You will be given an exciting key role in which you will be responsible for the identification, contact and sale to new customers in Germany or Spain, depending on your language proficiency. As part of the sales team you will be responsible for the entire sales process as well as for managing an initial portfolio of customers. You coordinate and assist in sales efforts across the sales organisation, and you understand your customers’ business and support them in their growth. You are proactive on the phone, and you set up web meetings in order to establish and develop customer relationships. In this position you must expect approximately 20-30 travel days per year.
To succeed in this position, you have sales experience, preferably with international sales, and you are fluent in German or Spanish at a business level both written and spoken. It is an advantage, if you are proficient in French, Italian or Danish as well. If you have a medium or long-term education, a good IT understanding and experience with Microsoft Navision, it is considered an advantage as well.
Another prerequisite for success in this position is that you possess a good business acumen and a talent for sales. You have a strong drive and ability to close the sale and achieve results, since you know how to close fast deals as well as being patient and structured when developing big projects. As a person you are curious and eager to learn, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you get motivated by interacting with customers and colleagues and building long-term relationships. You are a responsible, cooperating and problem-solving teamplayer with good communications skills, who are known for being organised, detail-oriented, and for having the ability to work independently and persistent. You are trustworthy and proactive, and you take ownership of your areas of responsibility, which means you always follow up on your tasks to make sure you reach your targets.
We expect that you live within an appropriate driving distance to the office in Svenstrup. Denmark.
