Accounting – Financial reporting – International subsidiary
With reference to the CFO, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities, which will include direct responsibility for accounting, bookkeeping, finance, forecasting, budgets and financial reporting. You produce periodic subsidiary and divisional reports to Group Finance and local management, and you take corrective actions for all variances. Furthermore, you manage receivables and payables, record all financial transactions in line with Group accounting policies as well as preparing monthly management accounts. You will also be managing relationships with banks and other financial business partners including auditors, lawyers and other government and professional entities.
You will be directly managing one report, the Finance & Admin assistant, who is a shared resource with the Operations division. In addition to processing receivables and payables, this team member’s responsibilities include order processing & invoicing. As this entity develops its revenue stream, you will be able to grow and resource your team accordingly.
You will be a qualified finance professional with a proven track record in delivering high quality financial and management accounting services. You have good knowledge of US and international accounting standards, strong IT skills and are an experienced user of Microsoft Office and ERP-systems.
As a person you are structured, quality conscious and professional, and you take responsibility and ownership of your tasks. You have great drive, a good work ethic and a strong passion for success. You have a hands-on approach to solving problems, and you are able to keep calm when things get busy and are willing to work hard to reach your deadlines. You are a self-motivator, who can work independently, and you are known for your excellent planning capabilities, your strong sense of detail and your “can do” attitude. You will have a confident manner in delivering both oral and written presentations and a commitment to achieving results.
You will be based in Norcross and expected to live or take up residence in sensible commuting distance from here.
