As our new Business Development Director, you will report to the CEO of MedCan Pharma and be responsible of driving the cannabis category forward. You will be part of developing and individually responsible for executing significant parts of the category strategy. As such you will be responsible for your own project portfolio. To succeed in this role, you must work with all aspects of the business development process from identifying and evaluating potential partners, developing projects and contracts, and negotiating and implementation.
You have a commercial education on master’s degree such as Cand. Merc. or similar. Alternatively, you have a technical background combined with solid commercial experience. Most importantly, you have solid experience with business development and sales B2B from a similar industry – eg. medicine, dietary supplements or food. You are expected to have excellent communications skills in English in writing and speech.
As a person you are positive, energetic, self-motivated and have a winning attitude. You are capable of communicating with all levels internally and externally and you understand the importance of teamwork as you will have many touch points across the organization. Furthermore, you have a good strategic and analytical understanding as well as an international mindset.
