VERPAN is the leading manufacturer of lamps and furniture from the well-known Danish designer Verner Panton. VERPAN produces a wide range of pendants, floor lamps and table lamps from Verner Panton, as well as classic chairs and furniture. VERPAN is a product of the Danish design tradition that placed Denmark on the world map for functional, modern and unique design.

In 2003, VERPAN started producing their lighting elements, which today embellishes many homes all over the world. They have an ongoing process, in which they carefully select products from Verner Panton’s treasure chest and bring them back to life. The Danish company has, from the beginning aimed at producing lamps and furniture in accordance with Verner Panton’s origins principles: to create a synthesis between quality and originality.

To expand VERPAN’s high-end Verner Panton lighting and furniture collection in Norway and Sweden we are now looking for a Area Sales Manager for Norway and Sweden.

With reference to the export manager, you play a crucial role in growing and developing the markets in Norway and Sweden. You will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships with dealers and architects, and assisting retail clients in moving VERPAN products out-of-shop. Your daily work tasks will include selling high-end lighting and furniture by visiting existing retail and contract clients, creating and updating project opportunities, and planning and executing events. The focus will be a fifty-fifty split between contract and retail sales, with a few primary online shops.

If you succeed in executing the specified customer plan for the Norwegian and Swedish markets, there will be great opportunity to develop the setup around the position further.

You have a commercial educational background. You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience from a similar position, preferably within high-end design, in which you already have established a good network. You speak and write Danish and English on a high level. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you are able to communicate in Norwegian and Swedish.

As a person you are goal oriented, driven by results and enjoy spending time on the road. You are persistent and patient when it comes to the sales process. You have a hands-on approach to your work and know how to execute a plan. Moreover, you are independent and not afraid of making decisions, and transform your clients' needs and desires into actions and solutions.

Your working station will primarily be on the road, with approximately 4 days out and 1 day working from your own home office address or from the Head Quarter in Horsens, Denmark. Around 120 travelling days a year should therefore be expected. There are no requirements to your residence.
